Security Notice
When you click on a Java Web Start link, you
are downloading the program and running it on
your own machine. This is somewhat similar to
a Java applet that runs on your local machine,
with some important differences. Most importantly,
i-Spi differs from most web-deployed applications
in that we configure the application to run
with FULL PERMISSIONS. This is primarily because
i-Spi expects access to the local machine, thus
giving it the ability to open and save configuration
files on the local machine. This means that
running i-Spi via Java Web Start has the same
security implications as downloading, installing,
and running the application on your local computer.
If security is a concern for you, you should
consider whether this is what you want to do.
By running i-Spi you agree to the terms of the
license agreement, including the standard disclaimer
regarding limitation of liability. You can view
